Hey,
we are super stoked, we are listed in the Hawaii Production Index.
Man what a month! I am soon offering classes and instruction. I’m teach entry level, Speedlites, and Studio lighting on location.
We’ve also started this trouble!

We’ve got some great news, stay tuned!
So I’ve embarked on a new project this is why I haven’t post here in a long while. It’s called the glasses.
What it is, I ask everyone I meet to put on “The Glasses” and I take their photograph.

Your next….
So a few days back Aural Vampire came to visit Honolulu at Pipeline cafe’. They came in support of their new album Zoltank!

It was a great stage show, I shot this with expired Illford XP2 iso 400. It came out soo smooth for the tones and low light. Iuse a Contax T3.

I also used Fuji Superia/Press 1600, one of my favorite films that I found out has just been discontinued. I’m seriously bummed.

It was a small show and Raveman was elusive from the camera.

This is one of my favorites from the night.

I’m not sure what I’m going to do now that my bestest film has been laid to rest?
RIP Fuji 1600
So I recently contacted Livebooks to create a matching blog for my site and as of now I am very pleased with the smooth interface.
I think it’s great that I can share behind the screen shots and setups. I’ll also be offering insight to my setups and also workshops!
So a while back this DJ shot was put together, we worked with DJ silvana.

This shoot was super cool and we had a ton of fun. You know this is was really fucking hard in reality.
1st. it was shot in Dj Silvana’s front yard…yea I had to do yard work.
2nd. All the disco balls had to be hung by HAND! which after hanging them all seemed only slightly adequate.
3rd. It was windy as a midwestern twister.
Here’s the unedited shot-

As you can see we have a phantom hand … Ooooh scary! and there’s also a Texas 2×4 holding down the backdrop.
Oh I can forget about the cordless powerdrill in the middle.
Here’s a polaroid of the set here to give you an idea of the Big Balls
Insert Polaroid Here After ScanMan Scans It.

So as you can see it was total chaos and it’s clearly a clean “studio shot”
For this image we used the Canon 1D Mark IV, Canon 70-200 f/2.8 II, Profoto 7B 2 head pack.
